Review: Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution

Long time no postin', eh?

Anyways....

I finally finished a product, which you can tell from the title is the Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution!

Retail price: $49.50

 Here is what Kiehls.com says about this product: 

A fast-acting serum that diminishes dark spots and visibly evens skin tone

• Helps to prevent the formation of future dark spots and other skin discolorations with continued daily usage

• Silicone-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free

• No colorants and no optical diffusers

And here are my thoughts....

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser Review

First I would like to kick it off by saying SORRY for being MIA. Its tough to talk about skincare when my skin is not acting the best. But, since it is seeing some improvement I decided to start again! 

Purpose : 

-a mild facial cleanser formulated for all skin types

-throughly cleanses skin and removes makeup 

-pH blanaced to maintain skin's natural balance

-tested for safety and gentleness

How much I like it: 4 out of 5 stars 

Pro: 

-feels gentle but still cleans!

Eyeko Liquid Eyeliner Trio

If you get to know me, you know that I LOVE EYELINER. I wear eyeliner all the time. If you see me without eyeliner, it's probably because it's dead/finals week of that semester.

I generally only use liquid eyeliner. Why? because it is so damn easy and has a good enough lasting power for me. I would use gel eyeliner, but it takes one too many tools and I'm too lazy to sit there and try to make it perfect. I am a perfectionist when it comes to makeup and I am not going to wake up every morning to make my eyeliner perfect with gel eyeliner when liquid eyeliner takes half the time and you only need one thing to do it. (*note: I still like gel eyeliner. But I generally use it when I need my make up more dramatic)

Oh right. *Pencil eyeliner just doesn't cut it with my oily lids. I mainly use pencil on my water line but that doesn't even stay on that long for me.*

Anyways, I really enjoy Eyeko's eyeliner. I bought my first eyeko eyeliner like...a year and a half ago? and since then have repurchased it 3 times. That's right honey, 3 TIMES!  If that doesn't show you how much I love this product. Then here....

Favorite Lip Products for the Summer (2013)

Here's a bullet-list of a short background on my history with lip snnnuff....

• I don't wear lipstick/lipgloss 24/7. Longevity doesn't really matter to me.
• When I eat, I take my lip stuff off. So I can't tell you if it stays on after you eat.
• When I do wear lip stuff, the color is usually bright or a bold deep color, but sometimes I venture out with nudes and pinks (really rare).
• Because I cut my hair last December, I'm a bit more crazy with my lips now (bolder)

Clinique All About Eyes Review

Purpose : 

-reduces eye puffs, darkness and fine lines

How much I like it: 3.5 out of 5 stars

-lightweight

-moisturizing 

Maybelline the Falsies Big Eyes Mascara VS. the Falsies Mascara

Color : Both in Very Black Waterproof
Price: the Falsies Big Eyes - 7.99 at Ulta
          the Falsies - 6.99 at Ulta

Need To Know:

The Big Eyes attracted me at first sight due to its dual ended mascara wands; one end is for the upper lashes and the other for the lower lashes.  And the original Falsies has such a great reputation (with me and with the public in general) I had to pick it up!

My Beauty Diary: Mexico Cactus Sheet Mask Review

Purpose : 

-water retention (moisturization)

-soothing 

-for all skin types especially those who have dry and sensitive skin (YAY!!) 

Major Ingredient(s):

-Opuntia streptacantha flower (cactus essence) 

-Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract 

-Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice 

How much I like it: 5 out of 5 stars 

Pro: 

-high water retention 

-extremely soothing 
-about $2 on Pretty and Cute

Laura Mercier Face Illuminator Spellbound

I was on a SWEEPING PROCLAMATION ('How I met your mother' reference, I love HIMYM!) of No More Buying Make up for a Month, then I saw this baby in Laura Mercier Fall 2013 Collection and the only thing I saw worth breaking my sweeping proclamation (after only 7 days) was the Face Illuminator in Spellbound.

I knew right off the bat that if I didn't get my hands on it soon that:
1) I would regret it when it sold out
2) It will for sure be sold out very soon

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Acne Treatment Review

Purpose : 
-reduces the number and severity of acne blemishes
-penetrates clogged pores to clear blackheads and whiteheads
-for all skin types including sensitive skin (YAY!!) 

How much I like it: 5 out of 5 stars 

Pro: 
-fast acting 
-will not irritate sensitive skin

Con: 
-price (about $35 on Ulta)

Color : Poppy Paradise 
Price: $22 at Sephora

Need To Know:
This is one of the most ingenious blushes that I have found recently. The blush is described as
