You could say that I am somewhat of a make-up addict and sometimes a skincare adventurist. I dove into buying make-up and really learning about it in 2009 and ever since it has been my time (money) consuming hobby. I have skin that is slightly acne prone and very oily. I have an incessant love for trying new things and experimenting with them! Read everything, take what you need, and leave what you want!

I am a crazy skincare junkie as of 2002.
This blog will encompass everything that I use to achieve healthy skin including masks, cleansers, serums, moisturizers, toners and mists. I have combination/oily, sensitive skin that is acne prone. I have consistent acne since junior high that has waned this past year; however, I still have two or three breakouts almost every week and hormonal acne. Add in: being a college student means that I am super susceptible to late-night cramming stress induced acne. I have a serious love for natural and gentle skin care products!
Be expecting an ongoing narrative of my skincare journey!
Leta
Since 2006, I have been obsessed with make up and nails. At a young age, I experimented a lot with the types of look. I went through a rocker/gothic stage in 8th grade, and slowly became more into glamorous makeup and nails in 9th grade. I'm not really sure how to describe my style now. I have very oily skin, and acne prone skin. In my recent pictures, my skin looks 100 times better than what it used to be. Since junior year in high school, my skin went ape shit and became cystic. It worsened in college and finally last summer (2012), I took drastic action with how I treated my skin and how I took care of it. It's a long story, so I'll write a post about my skin journey later.

We all went to high school together (junior high for Leta and Sara) so it has been a little over seven (nine) years of friendship and counting... beatus tempus will be a blog reviewing/sharing everything related to make-up and skincare but it will also be a place were blessed time will be spent between us (Christy, Sara, Leta, and our readers).
