Review: Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution

Hi y'all!

Long time no postin', eh?

Anyways....

I finally finished a product, which you can tell from the title is the Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution!

Retail price: $49.50
Here is what Kiehls.com says about this product:
A fast-acting serum that diminishes dark spots and visibly evens skin tone
  • Helps to prevent the formation of future dark spots and other skin discolorations with continued daily usage
  • Silicone-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free
  • No colorants and no optical diffusers

And here are my thoughts....

This product took a long time for me to finish and I used to it EVERY night.
So for the price, I think it's worth it. I bought this product around May of this year, and I only just now finished it (November!)

I bought this product in hopes that it would help reduce my acne scars because my acne has reduced a lot over the year, but my skin still looks horrible because of all of the scars and red pigmentation it has... :(

I do see a reduced amount of red pigmentation on my cheeks (which is where the pigmentation was the highest)!

As for my scars, it didn't do much... which I realize now that it's not even meant for that! (The lady at the Kiehl's store lied to me then... -_____-)

I most definitely have seen a reduction in my dark spots/red pigmentation! My cheeks still has a lot of acne scars, but it's not as bad as it was before!

Sorry if you wanted a 'before and after' photo, but I don't usually plan on blog post that early.. I just know from looking at my face everyday that I'm now more comfortable with going to school without make up on at all (this is partially because I have 8am, and sleeps outweighs make up any day!). But also, it takes a lot less foundation for me to achieve a "flawless" look. I don't use concealer as much on my face (only occasionally and only on very few spots, usually active acne areas).

This product is very easy to use. I simply take a couple drops (it comes with a dropper) into my palm, rub my palms together to warm up the product and smear it all over my face (avoiding the eye area, of course!)

Here's a concise breakdown of what I just said....

Pros:
Easy to use
It really does reduce dark spots
The Kiehl's site also states that it deals with Anti-aging. I'm only 5 months older since I started using this product, so I can't really answer that.

Cons:
Nothing. I would initially say the price is a bit high. However, for the results I got and the time it took me to finish the bottle, I truly think this is worth it!

Sorry for the shotty review! I feel like I need to make more concise reviews if I ever want to consistently post.

Please comment below if you have used this product and let me hear your results!

If you haven't used this product, let me know what products you want to read a review on! I'm always open to trying new things!

I'm outs! It's 2 AM and I'm at Uni's library still...
